It’s been a year since my last post. I moved to Bangalore in April and then never got a chance to write anything. Anyway, I went through something recently which I thought of worth writing. Follow me here! It’s about last month, when I visited a printing shop to get few papers printout done. My experience in printing shops in Bangalore is very interesting. At the time we talk about internet privacy and take precautions for our data, I had to send my important documents to shop keeper’s email to get it printed. I will not write about the privacy…

In 2012, I came to know about Spotify, Only to find out it was not available in India and but was accepting email for alerts! I remember 3-4 times visiting the same Spotify page which had 1 image in background with 1-2 humans, don’t remember more… Whenever I heard about Spotify in some videos or news, I kept wondering why its still not in India. Maybe in January, I heard the news coming in about the India Launch. They didn’t send me any email though :p Last week, I could install the app in weekends after so much waiting and,…

Android apps have come very far in count. Open PlayStore and a proper search key will fetch you a lot of apps. Anyway, I don’t remember ever Android apps count was less in number. I have been an explorer of Apps. Whenever I come across a good new app, I give it a chance and try to get all much I can get from it.I have 230 apps on my Oneplus for now.Yeah I have multiple apps for same or similar tasks for few, because they have something different from each other.Because of the increasing number of apps in my…

Few days back, I went to some Restaurant for dinner. While billing after the meal, I had a glance over how they manage their table-orders. Guess what, they are still using pen-papers to write the orders by table number.Small cut-ready papers works as KOT for them. They write the order with a pen and forward it to where it should go. And then finally it translates to the bill later. Okay, lets hold for 1 minute and think the time involved in this. Write table no. “2”Write “Food 1 Half Spicy”Write “Food 2 Full Non-veg”Write “Food 3 Full Veg”Give to…

It’ post 3am. I couldn’t sleep yet. During my college days, I used to create apps from on-the-moment ideas in these late night times. I wanted to do nothing and sleep asap, so i can catch my office on time.Or maybe, I should have read something because reading in bedtime is good, I have learnt.Maybe Neural Network: pending from almost 1 year now. I have to do something about it Neural Network (related to AI) soon. I see lot of developers are already creating in/with AI in various fields.I scare to be back from the standards. But then I see…

I got my Oneplus 5 delivered on 25th of August in last year! I was very happy with the phone until they announced Oneplus 5T within 3 months, for same price with great camera and display! BOOM! 5T had a great low-light camera performance over my almost new device. Anyway, I moved on 🙁 This year in May, on 22, they released Oneplus 6!Well, this post is not about the review of it so I wont dig it up. But I will not let myself go without saying this…I hate notches, and so rest I don’t care much! Anyway, we…

If you are happen to be liking stock Android, then we share same taste. I have been a long time fan of Google Feeds. The curated relevant feeds keeps me engaged most of the times. I loved swipe to hide cards back then. I am still disappointed when this feature was silently removed to show off a shiny UI. Recently, Google updated its browser for all platform with slick rounder UI having material theme. On my PC, it looks polished but more white, which I try to avoid. Being a developer, habitually, I love dark blackish themes. Chrome update came…

Hotkeys are like shortcuts. You press specified key to do some task. Like, Ctrl+s will save this html page. And when you do Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v to copy-paste. In background, Code listens to your click event, It sees what you have just clicked and Call the function as per keys. While few things work, as readily implemented in browser, but you might have to create different features accessible with keys if you need. As per usability case, keys have better speed than using mouse or touch pad. If you are happen to be computer nerd, you better know it :p…

I got my first smartphone 3 years back, I was very excited of everything about it. I was more productive and connected to world in real time. I had a Nokia S40 phone before that. Android has a huge offerings in regards of everything. As being a developer, its most important to me, we like to have more controls, more customization and more in everything else. I could literally change everything on my phone. I played a lot with my Yureka, I tried 300+ of apps, launchers, custom roms, and then went to change firmware also to try new custom…

Java was a beautiful programming language for me to learn. I still love the way it forced me to write the neat and organized code, though I didn’t like the idea of writing extra  lines just to write a “Hello world” and also the performance of the language. I think, it became popular because of Android adoption and will fade in upcoming years because of legal disputes and strategical changes of Google to replace it with some other language like Kotlin or Dart. Among a lot of beautiful things from Java, one common goodie is setter-getters. I assume, you are…
